Derby or Ascot hats are all related to annual glamorous & prestigious horse racing events. Illustrious hats, headpieces and fascinators are worn by all the ladies at the horse racing events. In fact, the dress code for the Royal Enclosure at the Royal Ascot requires that ladies wear dresses, skirts or jumpsuits that hit at the knee or below. Women are also permitted to wear trousers. Hats are absolutely mandatory and must have a diameter of four or more inches. Luckily for most of us,we are not going to the Royal Ascot and can choose to wear whatever size rim we like!
