Pill Box Funeral Hat

A black hat makes for an elegant and appropriate funeral hat for a sombre occasion.

This is our 1930’s inspired Pill Box hat. It is elegant, formal and the perfect stylish statement for a funeral hat.

Its characteristic is a flat crown and straight, upright sides with no brim.  It was called a Pill Box because it looks as though it was designed to hold pills.

A delicate veil covers your face without touching your face fully.  The finishing touch come from a black rose and feathers which create the elegance required to complete this Pill Box look.

A bit about good etiquette. It is considered OK to wear a hat to a funeral — as long as the hat is clean and formal. Steer clear of baseball caps or knitted caps, which are not considered good etiquette. Good etiquette requires that the hat to be a dress hat, such as one that is part of a military uniform, or a more formal style such as a fedora.

Finally a bit of trivia for you. A funeral hat is formally called a fascinator in millenary circles. Just in case you needed to know. You can’t say we haven’t got you covered. Well, not quite yet, but we hope that will be true soon!
