This Tele-Ticket machine was designed as a retro-fit to the movie ticket dispensing machine already installed.  The mechanism was a rudimentary metal box with no visual communication; unattractive and unfriendly.  The new design introduced the movement associated with film and made it come alive with the wave.  It was made of pigment impregnated fibreglass and then wrapped with a digitally printed PVC adhesive film.

The Tele-Ticket machine requires that one swipe a credit card through the designated slot to pay for the tickets which were booked telephonically.  Then the ticket would be printed and dispensed in conjunction with an LCD display.  This was to alleviate standing in queues at the movie-house (waiting to buy a ticket).
